We’re set for a hot one this coming week – and what better way to beat the heat then with a delicious ice cold smoothie? Each of these are super easy to prepare and only have a few ingredients.
Nothing worse than shopping for exotic items in 30ºC+ weather! You’ll notice there is no ice cream in these recipes, so you are not overloading on sugar. To add the creaminess we are relying on the ingredients and the transition from frozen to semi-liquid - kind of like a cheat’s version of a frappe. You can always control the temperature and texture by adding ice cubes. Each recipe below makes enough for 2 drinks. You will need to start these in advance as the fruit needs to be frozen.
