At Alinta Energy, we realise one size doesn’t always fit all, so we’ve got a range of solutions for you to choose from when paying your Alinta Energy accounts. Each account you receive from us will include all our payment options for the plan you are on. Of course, if the plan you have chosen has a discount for paying by a particular method (such as Direct Debit), please make sure you pay each account using that method to ensure you receive your discount.
There are two options for paying your Alinta Energy bill online:
Credit Card: To pay your Alinta Energy bill from your MasterCard, VISA or American Express card use our secure online account payment service:

Please note, you will be asked to type in your bill amount and Alinta Energy Reference Number. Both can be found at the top right-hand corner of your bill.
To pay your Alinta Energy bill using BPAY, log on to your online bank account and choose the BPAY option. You will be asked to type in your BPAY Biller Code and Reference Number. These numbers can be found at the bottom left-hand corner of your Alinta Energy bill. If you do not have online banking set up, please contact your bank or financial institution to make a payment from your cheque, savings, debit, credit card or transaction account.

Setting up Direct Debit is easy. You can either choose to do so using our Direct Debit request form found under the Bills and Payments tab, or alternatively complete the form online through MyAccount.
To set up a direct debit payment arrangement using the form; download this from our Bills and Payments tab, complete the necessary fields and send it back to us either by mail, fax or email. Refer to the bottom right-hand corner for our address details.
To complete the application online; simply register for MyAccount by clicking the green button at the top right-hand corner of our website. All you need is your Alinta Energy Customer Number. Once you are logged in, under the ‘My Payments’ tab click ‘Direct Debit Set Up’ to fill out the required fields. Already a MyAccount user? Log in now.
Please note, if you are signing up for monthly instalments you will need to indicate your preferred day of the month that you wish the payment to be processed. If you are signing up for quarterly Direct Debit then your payment will automatically be paid on your energy bill due date.
In order to fill out the required fields you will need to have your applicable bank account or credit card information handy. If you choose to set up Direct Debit from a bank account then you will also need to supply your bank account name, account number and BSB number.
If you would like to utilise our automated payment services and pay your account using your credit card over the phone, simply call 133 702 and choose option 2. Please note, you will be asked to enter your bill amount and Alinta Energy Reference Number. Both can be found at the top right-hand corner of your bill.
Take your Alinta Energy account to any Post Office to pay by cash, cheque or EFTPOS.
If cheque is your preferred method, just tear the payment options slip off the account you’d like to pay, and post it with your cheque to the address shown on the slip.
