About the Rewards Shop

Certain tickets require that at least 2 tickets are purchased, however there is no maximum limit for the number of tickets you can purchase.
 
With mail out tickets (hard copy), it may be more economical for you to purchase more rather than less because of the postal charges.

Orders can only be made online through the Rewards Shop site.

The Rewards Shop has security measures in place designed to protect the customer from loss, misuse and alteration to the information under our control.

The secure server software, Secure Socket Layers (SSL) is among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions.

Neat Ideas does not store your credit card number on their servers. Please refer to the Privacy Policy and rewards site Terms and Conditions for further information.

Alinta Energy is pleased to offer customers a range of discounted products through the Rewards Shop - from tickets to movies, theme parks and attractions, to electronics and gift cards.

All relevant information about a mail out voucher or eVoucher can be found within the product page under 'product description'.

Alinta Energy works together with our local Perth-based partner Neat Ideas to bring the Rewards Shop to Alinta Energy customers.

You may notice ‘Neat Tickets Pty Ltd’ on your credit card statement. Neat Tickets is the registered business name for Neat Ideas.

Delivery

All online orders can only be received by post or email if voucher or eVoucher (respectively) is selected. Orders can not be collected from the Alinta Energy office.

Most mail out tickets (hard copy) are posted and received within 3-5 business days from the date they are ordered. Delivery is subject to Australia Post.

Tickets sent via Registered Post will be provided with a tracking number that can be used on the Australia Post website.

Please allow a generous amount of time between when you place your order and when you intend to use the tickets. We recommend placing your order at least 5 working days before you wish to use your tickets.

eVouchers will be emailed to the email address you specify. They should be received within 30 minutes of purchase. If you can’t find your eVoucher please check your junk mail folder.

Your eVouchers will also be available to download from the My Rewards Account / My Orders section of the Rewards Shop when you are logged in.

If you select a 'mail out' voucher, delivery will be by Registered Mail (3-5 Business Days) and Express Post (1-3 Business Days). All shipping methods are tracked.

Ticket sent via Registered Post will be provided with a tracking number that can be used on the Australia Post website. Please email customersupport@neatideas.com.au if you have not received your order within 7 business days of placing your order.

All orders over the value of $100 will be assigned to Registered Post for additional security and tracking.

For all orders made through the Rewards Shop, you may choose either hard copy tickets, which are mailed via Australia Post, or PDF eVouchers which are sent to your nominated email address.

Electronics

You may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under Australian Consumer Law from the retailer of the product, Neat Tickets Pty Ltd. Please email your complaint to customersupport@neatideas.com.au. All electronic products on the Rewards Shop are also subject to manufacturer’s warranty. Please refer to the warranty information with your product – usually on a small booklet within the product packaging or on the product packaging itself.

Gift vouchers

No, vouchers and gift cards are not exchangeable for cash.

Unfortunately we cannot provide you with a refund for lost, stolen, damaged or unused gift cards or vouchers. You should treat your gift cards and vouchers like cash.

Problems and technical issues

Any issues concerning non receipt of an order, stock availability, website issues, product or terms and condition queries must be highlighted to us as soon as possible. Please make every effort to contact us within 5 working days from the date of the order being place. You may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under the Australian Consumer Law. Please email customersupport@neatideas.com.au.

eVouchers ordered by you by your mistake cannot be replaced or exchanged. Please proceed carefully and review your order and shipping details before completing your purchase. We will replace hard copy tickets if the error is ours (at our own cost). Please contact our Perth-based support team at Neat Ideas immediately. If you purchase an eVoucher, your voucher will be emailed to you. Vouchers can be presented on a mobile device unless stated in the product description that the voucher needs to be printed prior to using.

Hoyts, Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas will allow for your eVoucher to be presented on your mobile device. Other cinemas do not at present have this facility available. Your tickets can also be redeemed online on the Event Cinemas, Hoyts and Village Cinemas websites.

The Rewards Shop carries a range of discounted movie tickets and eVouchers valid at various cinemas throughout Australia. Purchased vouchers can only be used at venues belonging to that specific cinema chain and in most cases are valid for use throughout Australia.

Each ticket may have different conditions of use, and refunds or exchanges are not available for change of mind, so please choose carefully.

Once a movie voucher has been purchased from the Rewards Shop, it can be used to make an online booking via the cinema website by entering the vouchers barcode and pin. Alternatively the voucher or eVoucher can be presented directly to the box office in exchange for a movie ticket.

All tickets are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the cinema. Terms and Conditions are found on the digital or physical tickets or on the product page in our Rewards Shop.

There may be slight variations between tickets so please refer to the product description for each ticket for further clarification.

Generally, a child ticket is restricted for use for those aged 15 years and under. Most teenagers and full-time students will have a student card which may need to be shown at the box office to qualify for a student/concession ticket. A senior ticket is generally restricted for use for those aged 60 years of age and over with a Proof of Age/Seniors Card/State Issued Concession card.

Please ensure that you are aware of any legal age restrictions placed on movies. Tickets can only be used subject to the classification of the relevant film given by the Office of Film and Literature Classification.

Each cinema chain will only accept vouchers for their cinema. Please ensure you carefully read the Terms and Conditions of each voucher prior to purchase to be sure the cinema you intend to visit accepts the vouchers you wish to purchase.

Only one scan of the barcode on your ticket will be validated by the venue.

If more than one copy is presented at the venue, the barcode scanner will alert the attendant that the ticket has already been scanned and admission will not be granted.

Each movie ticket has an expiry date indicated on it. Generally, they have a 4-8 month validity period. Tickets cannot be redeemed after the expiry date indicated, nor can their validity be extended by Alinta Energy, Neat Ideas or the relevant cinema.

Each cinema chain has its own set of conditions. Most will allow tickets to be used for 3D or VMAX movie session upon paying an upgrade fee directly to the cinema when you choose to redeem your voucher.

The ticket that you print is a legitimate ticket and must be presented to gain entry to the cinema it was purchased for.

Where you use the ticket to book online, the ticket that is then emailed to you by the cinema will become your entry ticket and must be presented at the venue.

You will be able to use the barcode and pin number on your ticket to book your movie and session time online at the cinema website. However, some ticket types do not allow this feature, so please ensure you check the particular product information on each product page.

The savings displayed on the website are calculated by comparing the special price to the highest peak recommended retail price that a venue charges for the same ticket.

Online booking fees are charged by all cinema chains for the convenience of being able to pre-select the movie of your choice, time and seat preference, via their online portal. You are therefore guaranteed seats for the session and cinema of your choice. Alternatively if you choose to present your hard copy or evoucher to the box office no additional charges are incurred.

There is NO minimum order for all of the ticket EXCEPT for Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas.

When you order an eVoucher, you will receive a receipt after you place your order. This receipt is not your eVoucher. Please allow up to 30 minutes for your eVoucher to be emailed to you. Your receipt or order confirmation will not be accepted at venues in lieu of your eVoucher.

Redemption

If you purchase an eVoucher, your voucher will be emailed to you. The voucher can be presented on mobile device unless stated in T&Cs voucher must be printed.

Hoyts and Events will allow for your eVoucher to be presented on your mobile device. Other cinemas do not at present have this facility available. At this stage Village cinemas are unable to do this. Your tickets can also be redeemed online on the Event Cinemas, Hoyts and Village Cinemas websites.

Rottnest Island

All Rottnest Fast Ferry and Rottnest Express Ferry tickets are same day return. You can extend your return date by paying a fee to the ferry provider to extend your stay. This additional fee can be paid to the ferry provider at the time of booking or on your day of departure.

Yes, for both Rottnest Express and Rottnest Fast Ferries children who use a child’s voucher must be between 4-12 years old.

Vouchers are not valid on New Year’s Eve and special events such as, but not limited to, the Rottnest Channel Swim.

Family vouchers must be used in one transaction and on the same ferry booking.

Vouchers purchased from the Rewards Shop are not your actual boarding pass and should be used to book your trip to Rottnest directly through the ferry providers. Alinta Energy customers can get up to 30% off ferry vouchers.

Yes, bookings with both Rottnest Express and Rottnest Fast Ferries are essential prior to travel and are subject to availability.

Generally Rottnest Island ferry vouchers have a 4-10 months expiry period. Tickets cannot be redeemed after the expiry date indicated, nor can their validity be extended by Alinta Energy, Neat Ideas or the ferry provider.

eVouchers for Rottnest Express are for departures from Fremantle only, and Rottnest Fast Ferries depart from Hillarys only. You cannot choose to depart from a different location, so please choose carefully.

Simply present your voucher at Rottnest Express or Rottnest Fast Ferries, or book online.

  • For Rottnest Express, the voucher can be used to book your ferry online at www.rottnestexpress.com.au/redeem or by calling 1300 467 688.
  • For Rottnest Fast Ferries, the voucher can be used to book your ferry by emailing your voucher details through to reservations@rottnestfastferries.com.au along with:
    • Your contact name and phone number
    • Number of passengers (including how many each of adult/ child/ concession)
    • Preferred travel dates and times (timetable can be found at www.rottnestfastferries.com.au)
