Helping communities navigate tough times
When unexpected hardship hits, having access to practical support can make all the difference. That's why we provided a $20,000 community grant to No Limits Perth, helping expand their crisis response work and support people when they need it most.
This support has strengthened their ability to deliver practical, immediate help — including food hampers, refurbished white goods and other essential emergency supplies. These are the everyday items that help individuals and families manage day-to-day life during difficult times.
As demand for support grows, this grant allows more community members to be reached. It's not just about providing essential items, it's bringing genuine care, so vulnerable people can regain stability and confidence.
Through the Kindness in Crisis project, hundreds of people have received vital household items and supplies, delivered with dignity and compassion. By responding quickly when unexpected challenges arise, the project ensures individuals and families can access the support they need to get back on their feet.
This initiative is a reminder that timely, practical support — delivered at the right time — can make a lasting difference in people's lives.
Community Grants — FAQs
Community Grants are one of the ways we support local not-for-profit organisations. The grants help fund projects that make a real difference in the community, whether that's supporting people through tough times or helping protect the environment.
Small to medium not-for-profit organisations registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) can apply. Projects need to be delivered in Australia and align with our focus on supporting communities where we live and work.
We support projects that help strengthen communities. From tackling social disadvantage and energy hardship to protecting and restoring the environment, the focus is on practical ideas that create meaningful, positive change.
Eligible organisations can apply for grants of up to $25,000.
Community Grants are offered twice a year. Application dates and details are shared on our website, so it's worth checking back regularly for the latest information.
