We've made it simple for builders to manage new connections for multiple sites with ConnectAssist.

What is ConnectAssist?

Requesting a new energy connection may seem daunting, but we're here to help guide you through the process. Through the ConnectAssist platform, builders and tradies can request several energy connections, and manage multiple energy accounts.

To multiple energy connections, register for ConnectAssist and submit a request from within the online portal.

There is no retailer paperwork required, so you can submit your connection request through ConnectAssist or by giving us a call on 1300 669 950.

For Ausgrid applications, you'll need to submit a request through Ausgrid before contacting us. When this has been approved, you'll receive a reference number that we will ask for when you submit a connection request with us.

For Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy applications, the National Metering Identifier (NMI) will be provided through ConnectAssist. Once you've received the NMI, you'll have to complete a connection application on the Endeavour Energy website or the Essential Energy website.

If you've submitted your connection requests through ConnectAssist, then you'll be receiving automatic status updates and all our communications from within the portal.

If you have any questions, you can ask us through the ConnectAssist portal or alternatively, you can give us a call on 1300 669 950 and select Option 1 to be directed to our onshore specialists.

Registering for ConnectAssist is free.

We will only pass on any network fees for new connections. We do not add any margin to these fees, nor do we charge for meter installations in NSW, QLD and SA.

There are no charges for standard gas connection and for any complex jobs, we'll obtain a quote so you know what the charges will be before any work commences. Rest assured, we don't add any margin or additional fees to this quote either.
