Important information

^Only available to residential customers in Victoria. Eligibility criteria applies. With our Real Deal Electricity and gas plan, you will pay Alinta Energy’s applicable market tariffs which are subject to change. If we vary the market tariff we will notify you in accordance with applicable laws and codes. You will receive $100 (including GST) credit on your first electricity bill, and if you sign up to the Real Deal gas plan you will also receive $100 (including GST) credit on your first gas bill. The Real Deal electricity and gas sign up credits are only available once per supply address, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. In the event that the value of the credit exceeds the total amount of your first electricity or gas bill the remainder of the credit will be applied to your Alinta Energy account.

*Our Sports Pack Energy Plan is only available to residential customers in Victoria. Eligibility criteria applies. Under our Sports Pack Energy Plan you will pay Alinta Energy's applicable market tariffs for Victoria which are subject to change. If we change the applicable Alinta Energy market tariffs, we will give you notice of any variations in accordance with applicable laws and codes. The Sports Pack Electricity plan entitles you to up to 12 months complimentary access to Kayo Basic only (valued at $25 per month as at 1 Sep, 2019) from the date of redemption. Your Kayo subscription will be cancelled if you cancel your Alinta Energy Sports Pack Electricity Plan, leave Alinta Energy, or if your supply is disconnected. You are responsible for all other costs, including data charges for your use of Kayo. Your Kayo redemption code is valid for one use only and is non-transferable. This offer is restricted to one redemption per supply address. If you choose to cancel your Kayo subscription before the end of your complimentary access period, you will forfeit any remaining complimentary access to Kayo. This offer cannot be applied in conjunction with other Kayo Sports offers. If you’re currently enjoying another Kayo Sports offer, applying this offer will override the existing offer. Important information

(1) HomeDeal Energy Plan is available to residential customers in New South Wales. Eligibility criteria applies. Under our HomeDeal Energy Plan, you will pay Alinta Energy's applicable market tariffs for New South Wales which are subject to change. If we change the applicable Alinta Energy market tariffs, we will give you notice of any variations in accordance with applicable laws and codes. Alinta Energy may, in the future, offer different prices under an energy plan with the same name. This means the pricing of your HomeDeal Energy Plan may differ to those who sign up to one of these plans on another day. You can change your energy plan at any time without penalty.

(2) BetterDeal is available to residential customers in New South Wales. Eligibility criteria applies. Other tariffs, fees and charges (including any demand charges) are excluded from the discount. The discount will only be applied to the usage and supply charges for the BetterDeal plan (which reflect the Standing Offer rates), for a 12-month contract term. These charges are variable and if we make any changes to your tariffs and charges or impose any additional charges, we will notify you in accordance with your Contract and Applicable Laws. There might be a slight delay in variations to the Standing Offer rates being reflected in BetterDeal rates. We will endeavour to minimise any such delays.

This plan (and the discount) is only available (and you can only remain on the plan after signing up) if you continue to receive all communications (including bills) electronically and bills monthly (where applicable). Monthly billing is applicable for customers with electricity smart meters. Otherwise, you will need to enter into a new retail contract and purchase electricity under a different plan. If we are unable to send communications to you electronically, the BetterDeal Contract will end on a date specified in a letter that will be sent to you (not being less than 20 business days from the date of the letter), after which our sale and supply of electricity to you will continue under our Standing Offer under the Standard Retail Contract (with prices you pay being the applicable Standing Offer prices published on our website). 

The BetterDeal Contract will come to an end at the end of the contract term, after which our sale and supply of electricity to you will continue under our Standing Offer under the Standard Retail Contract (with prices you pay being the applicable standing offer prices published on our website), unless we have offered, and you have accepted, a new Market Retail Contract.

(3) Receive $100 (inc GST) bonus credit when you sign up to BetterDeal electricity plan and $100 (inc GST) bonus credit when you sign up to BetterDeal gas plan. The bonus credit will appear as a ‘Promotional Credit’ on your first bill, provided that you are still on this BetterDeal plan at that time. The bonus credit will only be applied once per active account and per relevant supply address. It can’t be transferred or exchanged for, or paid out as cash. Accounts are only eligible to receive one bonus credit per fuel in any 12-month period.

(4) The Carbon Balance plan entitles you to a 100% carbon offset. This means we have calculated the emissions associated with this energy product and acquired carbon credits to offset these emissions through offset units eligible under the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard.
