We’ve just released our first Best Practice Charter Report—a big step forward in how we deliver responsible energy development.
This isn’t just a report. It’s a reflection of how we work: with respect and responsiveness at the heart of every power development project.
The report lays out how we approach our work in line with the Clean Energy Council’s voluntary set of commitments for renewable energy projects. That means engaging early and respectfully with communities, being sensitive to environmental and cultural values, and making a positive contribution to the regions we operate in.
“This past year, we’ve worked hard to strengthen how we engage, build genuine partnerships, and deliver benefits that go beyond what’s expected,” said Andres Maasing, Chief Development Officer.
“We want communities to see us and experience us as a trusted energy developer. Being a good neighbour, earning a social licence, and making a real difference based on what each community needs—that’s what drives how we connect, plan and deliver.”
The report also shares project stories, reflections on current practices, and areas we’re working to improve—so communities know what to expect when partnering with Alinta Energy, and how we’re holding ourselves accountable.
