We’re excited to share that five incredible not-for-profit organisations have been selected as recipients of our latest Community Grants Program.

This year, we received a high number of strong applications from across the community, each demonstrating passion, purpose, and a commitment to making a meaningful difference. After a thorough assessment process, we’re proud to support five organisations whose projects will deliver lasting social and environmental impact.

3rd Space — Power for Connection (QLD)

A man and woman standing in a commercial kitchen. The are both wearing black aprons with 3rd Space branding.

3rd Space Brisbane is a trusted daytime drop-in centre supporting thousands of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness each year. 3rd Space provides essentials like showers, clean clothing, nutritious meals and wraparound services including health care, legal support, employment pathways and housing assistance.

Our grant will help fund a secure phone charging tower for up to 150 people per day as part of their Power for Connection project, helping ensure individuals can stay connected to housing providers, Centrelink, health services, prospective employers, and family. It also eases pressure on staff and boosts safety within the centre.

Blinman Men’s Shed — Powering the Community Garden (SA)

Two men working on constructing a greenhouse.

The Blinman Community Shed supports the township’s 22 residents by providing a hub for connection, community gardening, and essential facilities. Currently reliant on costly petrol generators, the community has faced limitations in operating infrastructure and programs year-round.

Our grant will fund a solar installation, providing reliable, sustainable power for the community garden, wastewater system, and toilets. This ensures essential services are accessible at lower operational cost, delivering lasting benefits for one of South Australia’s most remote communities.

Redfern Jarjum College — Daily meals for students (NSW)

A female teacher and young pupil. Both are wearing glasses. The teacher has short hair and the student has hair tied in a bun. In the background is a large triptych windown bathing the room with diffused light.

Redfern Jarjum College provides a culturally safe, full-service learning environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, ensuring they feel connected, supported, and ready to learn.

Our grant will help Jarjum continue delivering daily meals for every student, ensuring no child starts the school day hungry. In 2024, the program delivered over 3,500 meals, supporting 90 per cent attendance and a significant reduction in behavioural incidents.

This funding sustains a foundation of wellbeing that underpins every success at Jarjum, strong engagement, improved focus and pride in culture.

The Women's Shelter Armidale — Brew & Belonging (NSW)

Women's hands forming a circle.

Women’s Shelter Armidale has supported women, children, and young people impacted by family and domestic violence and homelessness since 1977. Their Brew and Belonging program provides over 400 meals each week, fostering connection, dignity, and consistent access to nutritious food.

Our grant will help sustain these vital services, ensuring the crisis refuge continues to provide immediate safety while caseworkers support women to create plans that reflect their strengths and choices. Participants are connected with health, legal, housing, and education services, alongside training opportunities in youth work, food handling, and barista skills.

Bridge Builders — Backpack Buddies (WA)

A young boy and girl with blue t-shirts examine a black-and-white chequered backpack.

Backpack Buddies helps children experiencing weekend hunger by providing nutritious food when school-based supports aren’t available. The program addresses child poverty, supporting health, wellbeing, and school readiness.

Our grant will expand the program, reducing the waitlist and reaching more children in need, ensuring they have reliable access to food and the security, dignity, and stability every child deserves.
