Alinta Energy has a relationship with credit reporting bodies (Equifax and Dun & Bradstreet) and we may disclose your personal information to these bodies and obtain credit information and credit eligibility information about you to assess your credit worthiness and determine your application for energy supply (credit). Credit reporting bodies may include your personal information in reports that they provide to credit providers like us in assessing your credit worthiness (e.g. when you apply for an energy market offer).
If you fail to meet your payment obligations we may disclose credit information and credit related personal information to credit reporting bodies as permitted under the Privacy Act and the CR Code.
