Change for Sam (VIC)

24/7 security monitored personal safety devices save lives!

We know that feeling safe is something many people take for granted.

That's why we're supporting Change For Sam to provide more 24/7 monitored personal safety devices to victim-survivors of family and domestic violence across Victoria.

These devices connect directly to an emergency monitoring centre and can help emergency services respond quickly if someone is in danger. They're often used during some of the highest-risk periods in a person's life, providing an extra layer of security and peace of mind when it's needed most.

What we particularly love about this program is that when a device is no longer needed, it can be refurbished and provided to someone else, helping even more people access support. Today, almost 250 devices are helping victim-survivors across Victoria feel safer and more supported.

Community Centre Swifts Creek (VIC)

Solar in Swifts: Powering Community Activities

Community Centre Swifts Creek is at the heart of its community, supporting people across the remote Omeo District through everything from meal programs and pantry services to social activities and training opportunities.

We're helping the Centre install solar panels and battery storage on its community-owned building, reducing electricity costs and making it easier to keep these important services running for years to come.

The savings will be put straight back into programs that bring people together, support those doing it tough and help reduce social isolation across the region. It's a practical project that will deliver long-term benefits for both the community and the environment.

Backpacks 4 Kids (VIC)

Crisis care packs for children and young people

No child should have to face a crisis without the essentials they need.

That's why we're supporting Backpacks 4 Kids to provide 225 My Essentials crisis packs for babies, children and young people who have been displaced by family and domestic violence, trauma or abuse.

Each pack contains everyday items such as clothing, hygiene products and comfort items that can help provide a sense of stability during an incredibly difficult time. For children who may have left home with very few belongings, these packs are a reminder that someone cares.

The packs also help first responders, carers and support workers provide immediate practical support when children need it most. It's a simple idea that can make a lasting difference at a critical moment in a young person's life.

Lithgow Community Projects (NSW)

Alinta Energy Essentials Support

Sometimes the biggest difference comes from helping people cover the basics.

We're supporting LIthgow Community Projects to provide food and fuel vouchers to people experiencing financial hardship across the Lithgow region.

For individuals and families facing crisis, unexpected challenges or rising living costs, having help with groceries or fuel can ease some immediate pressure and provide breathing room when it's needed most. The support will reach a range of people in the community, including those at risk of homelessness, victim-survivors of family and domestic violence and families doing it tough.

it's practical support, delivered through a trusted local organisation that understands the needs of its community and can get help to the people quickly and respectfully.

Thunggutti Local Aboriginal Land Council (NSW)

Cultural Camping Program

We're supporting the Thunggutti Local Aboriginal Land Council to deliver its Cultural Camping Program, helping create opportunities for people to connect with culture, community and Country.

The program will bring generations together to share knowledge, stories and cultural practices, giving young people the opportunity to learn more about and celebrate their Thunggutti heritage.

It's also about creating opportunities for the future. Participants will help develop cultural products that will support a future Cultural Tourism social enterprise, creating local employment opportunities while sharing the rich culture and traditions of the Thunggutti nation with a wider audience.
