This month we launched Solar Together, a new offer for eligible households looking to cut down on energy bills, future proof their homes and go green without breaking the bank.
Solar Together takes care of everything from installation to maintenance and system optimisation. Instead of relying on traditional solar feed-in tariffs, customers can enjoy a tailored electricity plan with low daily supply charges, simplifying energy management.
It's a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) offer, which means at our end we’ll work with thousands (hopefully) of households to coordinate their solar and battery systems to act as one (sort-of) big power plant, capable of powering their homes, reducing emissions, and supporting a more resilient grid.
We’ve been able to launch the new offer thanks to the amazing capabilities of our customer IT platform – CORE – and a fantastic partnership with our IT team.
Our customers are seeing the benefits of this ongoing focus on customer technology, whether via the launch of our mobile app late last year, the addition of features like better usage data, or some exciting power insights functionality to come (stay tuned for more on that shortly).
Solar Together is a terrific new offer, and we’re looking forward to launching more products, services and improvements soon!
