This page explains the 4 steps to connecting customers with a gas supply

Step 1. Open an account with Alinta Energy

Property owners can open the account, or the home builder can do it on their behalf.

For new developments or to open an account on behalf of the property owner, complete the Request for Account (RFA) form below.

Step 2. Register a connection request

Your gas fitter must register a connection request by completing the Request for Gas (RFG) form below

Step 3. Distributor connects the property's supply

We’ll send a connection request to the gas network operator who will install a gas service pipe and meter at the property. In Western Australia, the network operator is ATCO Gas.

Step 4. Tradesperson installs appliances

Your gas fitter will do any necessary pipe work and install your appliances ready for use.
