(*) Your business must meet certain eligibility criteria to earn Qantas Points in connection with your Alinta Energy product. This eligibility criteria includes: (1) being a Qantas Business Rewards member; (2) having an active ABN; (3) signing up to a new Market Offer Contract with Alinta Energy; (4) the supply site being in NSW, Victoria, SA, or South East Queensland; (5) passing a credit check; and (6) being a small customer as defined in the national energy laws in Australia (excluding Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) customers). A one-off fee of $89.50 including GST normally applies to become a Qantas Business Rewards member, however this will be waived for new Alinta Energy customers. Any claims in relation to Qantas Points under this offer must be made directly to Alinta Energy. (**) Your business’ entitlement to Qantas Points is set out in the Alinta Energy BusinessDeal Qantas Points Offer Terms and Conditions, which are available at www.alintaenergy.com.au/qbrofferdetails. Eligible Alinta Energy customers will earn:
New customers: 12,500 Points every 3 months (ie 50,000 Qantas Points total). Existing customers: 10,000 Sign-Up Points and 10,000 Bonus Points (90 days after being on the plan) (ie 20,000 Qantas Points total). Plus:
- 3 Qantas Points for every $1 dollar spent on Alinta Energy’s BusinessDeal Qantas Electricity Plan (up to 30 days after fully paying your bill).
- 1 Qantas Point for every $1 spent on Alinta Energy’s BusinessDeal Qantas Gas product (within 30 days of fully paying their bill).
Qantas Business Rewards membership and acquiring Qantas Points are subject to Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions (available here: https://www.qantas.com/au/en/business-rewards/terms-and-conditions.html). Qantas Points cannot be redeemed for cash and can only be transferred in line with the Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions. Your business will be solely liable for any tax implications (including but not limited to fringe benefits tax) relating to the earning and use of Qantas Points under the Qantas Business Rewards Program.
